Stephen grew up in Weyburn and has been involved in the community for many years. He now serves on the Board of Directors for the Weyburn Group Home Society and on the Board of Directors for Weyburn MMA Club. He is also serving as Financial Agent of the local federal constituency of a national political party.
He attended at the University of Saskatchewan, where he pursued a Bachelor’s of Commerce in Finance, making the Dean’s List each year. During this time, Stephen worked in Weyburn’s growing oil patch on a service rig. After being accepted into the University of Saskatchewan College of Law, he travelled to Europe, to study and learn international trade law. Upon his return to Canada, Stephen completed his law degree and returned to article in Weyburn. Stephen’s experience in both finance and in the oil field has sparked a keen interest in corporate, tax, and oil and gas law. However, returning to Weyburn has opened a unique opportunity for him to practice law in numerous other areas as well.
Stephen is excited to be working in Weyburn because of the opportunity to be closer to friends and family and to give back to his home town.
